Grateful Hearts is an all-volunteer project whereby Artists may honor Missouri and Kansas service men and women who have died in the line of duty in both Iraq and Afghanistan. This is an opportunity to allow artists to express their appreciation through portraiture to the families of our fallen soldiers, both in Missouri and Kansas.
To participate as an artist, please contact me and I will send the form to you. All artists, within the metropolitan Greater Kansas City area, working in a two dimensional medium who wish to donate their time and talent in creating a portrait of fine art are invited to participate in this project. It is important to note that no monetary compensation will be made under any circumstances; this is a strictly all-volunteer project.
Any families wishing to receive a portrait of their loved one please contact me and I will send you information on how to receive a portrait of your loved one.
The portraits range in size from 18"x24" to 16" x 20". They are done from your photos of your loved one and when completed they are framed and delivered to you at no charge or costs to you. All materials, time, framing and delivery is completely free of charge to you! Please contact us thru the contact the artist page of this website or go to gratefulheartsproj@sbcglobal.net.
Please click on the Works heading and go to the Grateful Hearts Portrait Collection to see the Portraits done by the artists to honor the lives of the soldiers and their families.
