This wonderful organization rescues dogs and cats and re-homes them to loving families. My little Buddy, a puppy mill rescue dog, came from their organiztion. This is a fabulous artist whom I have had the privlege of having as a mentor. He is represented by Ventana Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he calls home. He also has a painting in the Butler Museum, Ohio. He does workshops all over the country. If you get a chance to attend his workshop, you will not be disappointed.

This is the website of the Grateful Hearts Project, an all volunteer group of artists who donate their time and materials and talent to produce portraits free of charge for the families of the soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan and to honor their service and their families sacrifice.

Walt Gonske is a wonderful painter who resides in Taos, New Mexico. During a painting mentoring workshop with Albert Handell, we were graciously invited to paint at Walt's home/studio. It was an absolutely fabulous day. Seeing his paintings up close and personal on our tour of his studio was divine.
This little gem of a gallery lies in historic Independence, Missouri on the square. It is a charming gallery and well worth the visit.

Christine Cooper Chubb has the healing touch. Her massage therapy studio is on 3rd Street in Lee's Summit, Mo.
She also displays my paintings in her studio. Her shop is definitely worth a visit.
This organization is dedicated to the pastel medium. It features information on the artists that belong to the group(of which I am one) and also offers information on art news and events.
This plein aire group is located in Colorado. They offer plein aire painting opportunities mostly in Colorado. They sponsor a member show once a year. Plein aire painting is a wonderul experience which if you've never tried, you should.
This group is in Lee's Summit, Missouri. I am a member of this organiztion along with other artists. We are juried in to this organization. They have several venues for displaying member's art. They also sponsor the Longview Art and World Music Festival in Lee's Summit, Mo. each October.
