I will have four paintings which were created in plein air at the Longview Dairy and Cattle Barns during a paint out sponsored by David Gale and the Longview Foundation.  All paintings will be for sale along with others created from that day.  5% of all proceeds go to the Longview Foundation which furthers the safekeeping of the historic Longview Structures and artifacts.  The paintings will hang for six months and will be for sale.

This is a beginning pastel class,mimimal drawing skill is needed. Also, if you work in another medium, but have always wanted to try pastels, this is a great class for you as well. We will explore the different makers of pastels and support surfaces.  We will learn a number of techniques in applying pastels and use these techniques to create a small still life painting.  There will also be hand outs of where to find pastels and pastel supports.  Come and have fun and experience the joy of creating with pastels.
