A passion for pastels

Jennylynne continues her art education with classes at the community college and with nationally known artists, Albert Handell, Anita West and Maggie Price.  She also has taken classes with nationally known local artists Donna Yeager and Donna Aldridge.  All of these wonderful creative people have contributed to her passion for pastels.

The vibrancy of the pastel medium has inspired her painting to push the medium as far as she can.  For her, it's all about the emotion of the painting, whether painting portraits of people or pets or painting landscapes en plein aire.

Jennylynne exhibits her work at Primary Colors Gallery in Independence, Missouri.  She also has exhibited in shows at the Albrecht-Kemper Musuem of Art in St. Joseph, Missouri , the R. G. Indres Gallery in Mission, Ks,& the Buttonwood Art Space, KCMO.

She has participated in  local & regional art shows where she has received numerous awards for her pastels.
